Everything Bagel Cheeseball
Cheeseball Ingredients:
1 8 oz. tub Tofutti Better Than Cream Cheese
1 8 oz. (12 slices) Tofutti American singles, stacked, halved, and grated
2 teaspoons liquid aminos
1 tablespoon everything bagel seasoning (or more to taste)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Optional: 1/2 teaspoon sea salt or to taste
2/3 cup very thinly sliced green onions (green and white parts)
2/3 cup finely diced red bell pepper
1/2 cup finely diced dried figs
Topping Ingredients:
1 cup broken or small nuts (regular or smoked almonds, pecans, pine nuts, pistachios, walnuts, or a combination)
3 tablespoons fresh minced chives, cilantro, or parsley
3 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning
Directions:
Place Tofutti cream cheese, grated American singles, liquid aminos, everything bagel seasoning, garlic and onion powders, and optional sea salt in bowl of food processor. Process until smooth with flecks of color and texture. Transfer to a medium bowl and stir in bell pepper, green onions, and dried figs. Quickly shape into a ball on top of a piece of plastic wrap, tightly wrap, and refrigerate for several hours or overnight.
Before serving, place topping ingredients in a food processor and pulse a few times until nuts are finely chopped. Transfer half of mixture to a shallow bowl. Place cheese ball on top of mixture in bowl and pour remaining over, turning and patting with fingers as necessary to coat. Serve with bagel chips, crostini, crackers, sliced vegetables, etc.
